Rule 20

Nothing Is To Be Taken Seriously

Poe's Law explains that it "is an adage of Internet culture stating that, without a clear indicator of the author's intent, every parody of extreme views can be mistaken by some readers for a sincere expression of the views being parodied", which means that if my friend did 9/11, and someone makes a meme about them hijacking a plane to blow up the white house or an embassy or something, without it being linked to the original source, you would never know that my friend did 9/11 and instead think they blew up the white house or an embassy, and without me stating in this paragraph that my friend doing 9/11 is satire, you don't know if i'm serious and somehow know someone who was behind the attacks

it is satire, my friend did not commit 9/11, it is just a running joke in our friend group, and i purposely worded the above paragraph to make it seem like i could be serious, to further the example of Poe's Law

and now with that you know it is satire, and to not call the FBI (thanks)
